How do I
register? Registration can
only be done online. We accept payment via credit card, check, or cash. If
you are unable to register online, you can come into our office (address
above) and someone will help you with the online registration
there.
How much is
registration? Registration
is $70.00 per child until July 15th – after July
15th registration will be $95.00
Do I need to buy a uniform? If you already have a uniform, you do not
need to purchase a new one. If this is your child’s first time playing, or
he/she has outgrown their uniform, then the uniform fee is $25.00. If you
purchase a uniform you need to bring your registration receipt to our
office on any Wednesday evening between 7:00 and 9:00PM.
Do boys and girls play on the same
team? No. All of our Fall
teams and Divisions are broken out by gender
When does the
season begin? Saturday,
September 13th. The season ends November
22nd.
When will I hear from my coach? Usually a full week before the start of the
season. Rosters, game schedules, and practice schedules will also be
posted online at least one week prior to the start of the
season.
What days are games played? Games are usually on Saturdays (there might
be one Sunday game due to field conflicts with the Queens County Farm
Museum). If your child is over 9 and on the Rec Travel team, then games
can be Saturday or Sunday with some travel involved (Port Washington,
Lynbrook, Valley Stream, Manhasset).
What times are games? Game times cannot be confirmed until we
know the total number of registrations and teams we have in each age
group.
What if I want my
child to play with his/her friends? We try to accommodate as many requests as
we can, but given coaching situations, roster sizes, and our desire to
create balanced teams it is not always possible. You should note any
requests in the “Comments” field on the online registration.
When are practices? Practice days and times are up to the
individual coach/division head running that team or division’s practice.
The times typically start between 5:30 and 6:30.
