FALL 2009 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I register?
Registration can only be done online. We accept payment via credit card (recommended method) or check. If you are unable to register online, you can come into our office and someone will help you with the online registration there.
How much is registration?
Pee Wee Division (5-6 yrs old): $85.00 per player includes Hat, T-shirt, and Trophy. AA/Minors/Majors (ages 7-12): $110 which includes hat only. Uniforms are available for an additional $30.
Do I need to buy a uniform?
Kids needs uniform for games. If you already have a 2009 LND uniform that still fits, you do not need to purchase a new one. If not, the uniform fee is $30.00. Uniforms will be given out at first game by coach.
Do boys and girls play on the same team?
Yes, they do, but this year is the first we will be offering girls Softball too, and you can register online for this.
When does the season begin?
Pre-Registration Ends on January 31 and includes a $20 discount. Regular season registration ends March 01. Preseason practice is in March at a gym at PS 67. Games begin in April and end in June.
When will I hear from my coach?
Your coach will send an e-mail/call about two weeks before the start of the season.
What days/time are games played?
Games will be determined by the Coaches after registration and the parents will be notified. You can usually count on at least one during the week, and one on the weekend.
What if I want my child to play with his/her friends?
We try to accommodate as many requests as we can, but given coaching situations, roster sizes, and our desire to create balanced teams it is not always possible. You should note any requests in the “Comments” field on the online registration.
