Head South on Springfield Blvd.
Turn Left on 73rd Street
Small Entrance on 73rd at 224th

 

Linneaus Memorial Field

Located between 57th Ave and 229th Street in Bay Village. The field is near Queensboro Community College and Cardozo High School, north of the LIE, between Douglaston Pkwy and Springfield Blvd.

(Winchester and Grand Central Pkwy)

From the North

Take Douglaston Parkway south to Winchester Blvd. (Douglaston Parkway becomes Winchester Blvd.??) Turn right under the Grand Central Parkway (the turn is under the Grand Central Pkwy) into the park entrance. (If you come to Union Turnpike, you've gone too far.) Follow the road up to the parking lot. The field is on your right (the only field I saw) as you enter the parking lot.

 

Fort Totten

Take the Cross Island Parkway North and exit at Bell Blvd. (Exit 32). Take a right at the first light and park in the parking lot just outside the Fort Totten gate. Walk through the gate and up the hill along the water until you reach the top of the hill. We are the field just to the right.
